Sound and Multimedia Installation Work of 2006

Over the course of my studies at Cal Arts I've had a chance to develop my electronics knowledge and experience, critical thinking, sesitivity to situation. Working in the medium of electronics from the ground up offers a unique perspective on media technologies and the means to address some key current cultural issues resulting from their ubiquity. Sound installation has become a favored venue to explore my environment (social, political, physiological, emotional, etc) and share my findings. The following are collaborative and solo works that trace my personal exploration of electronic technologies, the way they shape our perceptions of each other, and the ways we shape our social networks around them.

AANN (Fall 2007)
Dimmer (Spring 2007)
Eclipse (Winter 2006)
Burlap I II III & IV and Emergence - I (Summer 2006)
Adjacent Frequencies (Spring and Summer 2006)
